About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced professional to lead our London ADASS programme, driving improvement in adult social care through collaboration, sharing best practice, and promoting high standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and drive the programme of regional priorities, ensuring projects deliver expected outcomes.
  • Advise and collaborate with Directors of Adult Social Care, senior leaders, and partners to ensure strong strategic alignment and engagement.
  • Identify and address London-wide issues to drive transformation in adult social care, sharing best practice and advocating for high standards to influence policy.
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with key stakeholders to foster collaboration across the sector.
  • Oversee business planning, programme implementation, and financial management to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Requirements

  • Strong background in adult social care at a senior level, ideally with a proven track record of leading complex, high-profile programmes.
  • Excellent leadership and motivational skills, with experience in managing people, finances, and overseeing large-scale programmes or change management initiatives.
  • Expertise in adult social care systems, services, and policy, alongside a solid understanding of the economic and financial complexities of the NHS and local government, particularly in London.
  • Experience working with diverse partners, including those with lived experience of adult social care, is essential.
