Empowering Learning: Head of Art and Design

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Art educator to lead our Art department at Empowering Learning. As Head of Art and Design, you will be responsible for teaching Art across the school from Year 3 to Year 8, with a focus on assisting pupils who are applying for Art Scholarships in Senior Schools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Art to pupils across the school, developing and implementing engaging lesson plans that cater to different learning styles.
  • Assist pupils in preparing for Art Scholarships, providing guidance and support to help them achieve their goals.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement Art curriculum, ensuring a cohesive and effective learning experience for pupils.
  • Contribute to the development of Art programs and initiatives that promote creativity, innovation, and critical thinking.
