**Job Description:**

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Child Psychology Support Specialist to join our team at Protocol Education Ltd. This role will provide an ideal opportunity for a graduate in psychology to develop their skills and experience working with students with special educational needs (SEN) in schools within the West Midlands.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Assist and support the development and learning of students within the school, promoting their social, emotional, and academic growth.
  • Provide 1:1 and general support to students according to requirements, creating a safe and inclusive environment.
  • Collaborate with teaching and support staff to maintain a productive work environment, ensuring adherence to school policies.

**Requirements:**

  • A patient and understanding approach when interacting with students, families, and colleagues.
  • An interest in working with students with SEND, and a willingness to learn and develop your skills in this area.
  • Flexibility in your approach, adapting to changing circumstances and priorities.
  • An existing DBS check on the update service, or the ability to obtain one.
  • Experience working with children or adults with SEND is advantageous but not required.

**Salary Estimate:

The estimated salary for this position is £18-22 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience. The location of the role in the West Midlands also impacts the salary range due to the regional cost of living.
