About the Role

Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled Patient Safety Manager to join our Patient Safety and Governance team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for championing and promoting patient safety improvement across the Trust.

Main Responsibilities

  • Ensure that systems and processes are in place to monitor patient safety with an emphasis on learning from deaths, learning from incidents, and responding to national safety alerts.
  • Deliver the Trust patient safety priorities and promote a safety culture that emphasizes learning, including shared learning.
  • Provide direct support to staff undertaking learning responses and thematic reviews.
