Job Description

A seasoned Business Development Manager is sought after by Dawsongroup Plc to spearhead our growth strategy in the Northern Region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sales Strategy Execution: Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities within the public sector, leveraging expertise to drive revenue growth.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring exceptional customer service and experience.
  • New Business Prospect Identification: Proactively identify and pursue new sales leads, both internally and externally.
  • Funding Options Expertise: Develop a comprehensive understanding of various funding options related to equipment ownership and usage.
  • NHS and Public Sector Knowledge: Possess in-depth knowledge of the NHS and public sector, enabling effective execution of this challenging role.
  • Relationship Building: Develop positive working relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • Performance Targets: Achieve and exceed agreed-upon sales targets, driving business growth and success.
  • Project Implementation: Oversee project implementation, ensuring timely completion and attending regular business meetings as required.
  • Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement to enhance business performance and efficiency.
  • Presentation Skills: Deliver impactful presentations to internal and external stakeholders, showcasing expertise and thought leadership.

  • UK Broker Market, Financial Models, and Compliance: Maintain a deep understanding of the UK broker market, financial models, and compliance regulations.
Requirements:
  • B2B Sales Experience: Proven track record in B2B sales, particularly within the public sector.
  • Contact Development: Ability to pursue and cultivate contacts for future business opportunities.
  • Driving License: Full UK driving license is mandatory.
  • CRM Systems and Sales Databases: Extensive knowledge of CRM systems and sales databases.
  • Regulatory Awareness: Strong understanding of legal, regulatory, and compliance requirements in the sector.
