Job Title: Food Safety and Quality Director

As a highly respected Food Safety and Quality Director, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining our company's position as a leader in the food industry.

The selected candidate will collaborate closely with the General Manager and HR Manager to establish a robust food safety culture, incorporating unwavering commitment to quality, innovation, and service.

  • Develop and execute comprehensive strategies for food safety, quality assurance, and technical leadership, aligning them with business objectives.
  • Design and implement effective Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), tracking progress toward measurable targets.
  • Establish and lead Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP) & TACCP initiatives, fostering a proactive approach to risk management.
  • Conceive, develop, and implement cutting-edge food safety plans and quality management systems, adhering to stringent regulations.
  • Collaborate with operational teams to achieve consistent quality standards.
  • Cultivate a spirit of lifelong learning through tailored training programs.
  • Nurture lasting partnerships with esteemed clients and regulatory authorities.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Lead food safety and quality initiatives while championing a culture of excellence.
  • Leads with integrity, demonstrating strategic acumen, resilience, and analytical prowess.
  • Proficient written and verbal communicator.
  • Background in food science or technology, accompanied by level 4 food safety certification.
  • Knowledge of the ETI base code, along with experience in implementing it effectively.
  • Skills in leadership, coaching, mentoring, collaboration, and decision-making.
  • Sound understanding of Health & Safety policies and procedures, emphasizing adherence to standards.
  • English fluency is vital for clear communication and precise documentation.

Expected Annual Salary: £55,000 - £60,000
