TPF Recruitment is assisting a well-established and reputable firm of chartered accountants in their search for a VAT Director to strengthen their indirect tax team in Kent and the Southeast.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the VAT team on all areas of VAT advice, including technical research and compliance.
- Draft reports and letters of advice for a wide range of clients and industries.
- Liaise with clients and attend meetings to provide advisory services.
- Develop and implement business development strategies, including marketing areas of opportunity.
- Manage and develop members of the VAT team.
- Lead topical advisory matters to clients across the practice, including VAT efficient structuring and international trade.
- Advising businesses on VAT considerations for international trade and implementing partial exemption special schemes.
- Provide ad hoc advice on a wide range of VAT matters for the firm's diverse client base.
