VAT Director

TPF Recruitment is assisting a well-established and reputable firm of chartered accountants in their search for a VAT Director to strengthen their indirect tax team in Kent and the Southeast.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the VAT team on all areas of VAT advice, including technical research and compliance.
- Develop and implement VAT strategies for clients across various industries.
- Provide expert advice on VAT efficient structuring, international trade, and partial exemption special schemes.
- Manage and develop members of the VAT team.
- Significant experience providing VAT advice in a practice environment, in-house, or at HMRC.
- Broad exposure to most areas of UK VAT, with a working knowledge of EU VAT requirements.
- ACA / ACCA / CTA or equivalent, or qualified by experience.
- Highly competitive salary dependent on experience and background, negotiable- circa £90,000- £100,000 per annum.
- 25 days holiday (plus public holidays) and the option to buy or sell up to 5 days.
