Fleetwood Corporation seeks an experienced Site Delivery Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading our Projects team and ensuring the successful delivery of projects across various sectors, including education, affordable housing, mining, custodial, and commercial. With a focus on exceptional customer satisfaction, profitability, and timely delivery, you will be accountable for the success of these projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Oversee the Construction/Projects Department team and ensure the successful delivery of projects, including construction site-based activities.
  2. Provide leadership, support, and industry best practice procedural advice to Project Managers while representing Fleetwood in contractual management for assigned projects.
  3. Participate in tender assessments and contract documentation to protect Fleetwood's interests and ensure adherence to company policies.
  4. Manage and report issues related to project delivery, such as budget overruns, risks, and health and safety concerns.
  5. Verify that works comply with relevant policies and procedures, including project contracts, safe work method statements, and contractual terms.
  6. Manage project reporting using Fleetwood systems and procedures.
  7. Contribute to the planning and design phase of project delivery, ensuring compliance with budget, program, safety, and buildability requirements.
  8. Maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, promoting best practices in construction project management.
  9. Support team growth and development through training, coaching, and mentoring, and conduct regular performance reviews.
  10. Ensure timely production of project financial reporting.

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A tertiary university qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, accompanied by relevant experience.
  • At least 8 years of experience in construction management.
  • Strong collaboration and leadership skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with external parties.
  • Good knowledge of financial management procedures and project planning techniques.
  • Proven contract management experience and a track record of delivering large-scale commercial projects.
  • Valid Australian Driver's License.
