Paediatrician Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Paediatrician to join our team in the South Essex and Thurrock (SET) CAMHS Eating Disorder Service. As a Consultant Paediatrician, you will be responsible for providing senior medical support and guidance to the team, working directly with children and young people, and their families, and liaising as appropriate with other external health providers and acute hospitals.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in paediatric care, with a particular focus on eating disorders. You will be expected to work as part of a multidisciplinary team, providing care to children and young people across South East Essex and Thurrock. You will also be responsible for supporting your peers and team leader, and being an effective team member while allowing them to work with their own initiative.
Key Responsibilities- Provide senior medical support and guidance to the team
- Work directly with children and young people, and their families, and liaise as appropriate with other external health providers and acute hospitals

- Work alongside a CAMHS Consultant Psychiatrist within the service
- Commit to collaborative working, actively supporting and liaising with other health and social professionals, and agencies
- Full GMC registration with a licence to practice
- CCT or equivalent
- Inclusion in, or eligibility for inclusion in the Specialist Register or within 6 months of obtaining CCST
