About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Paediatrician to join our team in the South Essex and Thurrock (SET) CAMHS Eating Disorder Service.

As a Consultant Paediatrician, you will be responsible for providing senior medical support and guidance to the team, working directly with children and young people, and their families, and liaising as appropriate with other external health providers and acute hospitals.

You will be expected to work as part of a multidisciplinary team, providing care to children and young people across South East Essex and Thurrock, and to commit to collaborative working, actively supporting and liaising with other health and social professionals, and agencies.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of current developments in paediatric care, and will be able to demonstrate their ability to work effectively in a team, with a focus on delivering high-quality care to children and young people.

Key Responsibilities

Person Specification

  • Full GMC registration with a licence to practice
  • CCT or equivalent
  • Inclusion in, or eligibility for inclusion in the Specialist Register or within 6 months of obtaining CCST
