Paediatrician Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Paediatrician to join our team in the South Essex and Thurrock (SET) CAMHS Eating Disorder Service. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide senior medical support and guidance to our team, working directly with children and young people, and their families, and liaising as appropriate with other external health providers and acute hospitals.
Key Responsibilities- Work as part of a multidisciplinary team providing care to children and young people across South East Essex and Thurrock.
- Provide senior medical support and guidance to the team.
- Work directly with children and young people, and their families, and liaise as appropriate with other external health providers and acute hospitals.
- Support your peers and team leader, and be an effective team member while allowing them to work with their own initiative.
- Work alongside a full-time CAMHS Consultant Psychiatrist within the service.
- Commit to collaborative working, actively supporting and liaising with other health and social professionals, and agencies.
- Full GMC registration with a licence to practice.
- CCT or equivalent.
- Inclusion in, or eligibility for inclusion in the Specialist Register or within 6 months of obtaining CCST.

We are currently recruiting to a Consultant Paediatrician position in the South Essex and Thurrock (SET) CAMHS Eating Disorder Service, based at 125 New London Road, Chelmsford, Essex CM2 0QT, covering the county of Essex. This is an established, substantive, part-time post. You will join a full-time CAMHS Consultant Psychiatrist (currently out to recruitment) within the service, and will have the opportunity to influence future direction, treatment, and models of design in the area in which you work.
