Job Title: Deputy Head of Cabin Crew Training

Ascend Airways is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as Deputy Head of Cabin Crew Training. As a key member of our training department, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing training programs for our cabin crew.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Head of Cabin Crew Training and Safety in developing and implementing training strategies and programs.
  • Assist in defining and overseeing the cabin crew training strategy and implementation.
  • Act as a team leader in the absence of the Head of Cabin Crew Training and Safety.
  • Attend management meetings and report on department activity and updates.
  • Participate in Cabin Safety Liaison Group meetings.
  • Contribute towards the training department's overall objectives and key performance indicators.
  • Liaise with the Crew Training Coordinator's to ensure efficient management of crew training records and expiries.

Requirements:

  • Valid UK CAA OR ability to obtain a UK CAA/UK Medical certificate.
  • Previous experience in airline cabin crew training management or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in creating training materials using Microsoft, Prezi, and Canva.
  • Computer literate with the ability to produce manuals and materials to support the training department.
  • Experience of authority and training inspections is desirable.
  • Ability to deliver comprehensive training including CRM/SEP/Fire and Smoke/Aviation Medicine/Aviation Security/Dangerous Goods and upskill courses.
  • Ability/Experience in setting Key Performances Indicators.
  • Experience in performance management of training personnel.
