Healthcare Support Assistant

**About the Role**
We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Healthcare Support Volunteer. As part of this role, you will support the delivery of wellbeing and harm reduction interventions in Accrington, Lancashire.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the healthcare team with assessment, basic observations, home visits, and outreach activities.
- Assist with alcohol detoxes and provide open and flexible support to service users.
- Contribute to the development of comprehensive care plans and ensure effective communication with stakeholders.
What We Offer
As a Healthcare Support Volunteer, you will receive comprehensive training, including induction, boundaries, drug awareness, alcohol awareness, safeguarding, and trauma-informed care. You will also have access to regular supervision and support to ensure your success in the role.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should possess excellent communication skills, a non-judgmental attitude, and a willingness to learn. A background in healthcare or social care is not essential, but you must be able to work effectively within a team environment.
Salary and Benefits
The estimated salary for this role is £12-15 per hour, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive hourly rate, you will also receive opportunities for professional development and growth within the organization.
