SalaryThe estimated annual salary for this role is £25,000 - £30,000, depending on experience.
Job DescriptionThis full-time position will be based at our site in Wantage, working Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm with one hour for lunch. The HR Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate completion of all HR-related administrative duties and local recruitment. They will also manage the onboarding process, provide information, and assist throughout the employment lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:- Liaise with recruiting managers regarding vacancies
- Coordinate and carry out first-day induction for new starters
- Arrange interviews and issue all new starter documentation
- Provide basic practical advice to managers and employees in relation to policies and procedures
- Assist the HR Manager and HR Generalist in dealing with requests and issues relating to maternity, absence, flexible working applications, parental leave, and annual leave
We are seeking a candidate with demonstrable experience working in HR, ideally including recruitment, payroll, and benefits administration. CIPD level 3 qualified or equivalent qualifications/skills gained through experience are desirable but not essential. A good basic understanding of current employment law and HR best practice is necessary.
