About the Role:GSL Education - London is seeking an exceptional Graduate Teaching Assistant to join our dynamic team at a vibrant school in Wandsworth.This is an exciting opportunity to work with students aged 5-19 with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), including those with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), and other SEND conditions.
  • Your Main Responsibilities: Support students to develop their social and emotional skills in a positive and inclusive environment. Assist in the implementation of Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs).
Key Requirements:
  1. Prior experience working with children or young people with SEND is desirable but not essential; enthusiasm and a commitment to supporting our students are key.
  2. A calm, patient approach to supporting challenging behaviour.
  3. A proactive and flexible attitude, with a willingness to learn and grow in the role.
