Specialist Community Practitioner Trainee

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Specialist Community Practitioner Student. As a key member of our community nursing team, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Main DutiesThe successful candidate will be responsible for working towards gaining the standards of proficiency for entry to the NMC register as a Specialist Community Practitioner. This will involve attending university course dates and practice placement days, as well as working with the Practice Assessor and Practice supervisors to develop the skills and competencies required for NMC Registration Standards.
You will also be expected to demonstrate an understanding of current and emerging National, Regional and local healthcare legislation, policies and guidelines as they pertain to the chosen pathway. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to develop skills of caseload and team leadership and management, as well as participate in hand over and other team meetings.

Person SpecificationThe ideal candidate will have recent experience of working as a registered nurse in a community nursing role, as well as experience of working within multi-disciplinary teams. They will also have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
