Deputy Manager for Young People's Service

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Deputy Manager for a Young People's Service. As a Deputy Manager, you will play a crucial role in assisting the Registered Home Manager in the day-to-day operations of the service.

About the Role:

  • To provide a safe, warm, and stable environment for young people aged 11-17 with emotional/behavioural disorders and/or mild learning difficulties.
  • To create a culture and ethos within the home where the needs of the young people are paramount.
  • To provide accommodation to young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties.
  • To support and encourage young people to effectively manage difficulties and issues facing them.
  • To ensure the young people receive individual support according to their needs.
  • To work collaboratively with young people, their families, and other relevant professionals.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in children's residential care and willingness to attend relevant training.
  • Leadership development and supervisory management training.
  • Experience in management, leadership, or supervisory roles.

Salary: Up to £37,000
