Children's Community Learning Disability Nurse Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Learning Disability Nurse to join our Community Children's Learning Disability Health Service team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to children and young people with learning disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage an allocated caseload of children and young people with learning disabilities, providing specialist health advice and interventions as needed.
- Work collaboratively with a wide range of multi-agency professionals to support children and young people, including pre-schools, children's centres, schools, and short break settings.
- Develop and implement evidence-based nursing care plans, signposting and referring to other health professionals as appropriate.
- Provide training and support to develop other services to enhance the health needs of children and young people with learning disabilities.
- Maintain accurate records and timely interventions for a caseload of children, ensuring compliance with local safeguarding policies.
