About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Third in Charge to join our team at Busy Bees Reading International Nursery. As a key member of the nursery management team, you will play a vital role in guiding and supporting our staff to deliver high-quality childcare and education to our children.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of practitioners to ensure the delivery of high-quality childcare and education.
  • Develop and implement effective observation, assessment, and planning strategies to meet the needs of individual children.
  • Work closely with the nursery management team to ensure the smooth operation of the nursery and the delivery of our company's vision and values.
  • Provide coaching, guidance, and support to staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures to ensure the nursery is a safe and welcoming environment for children and staff.

Requirements

  • Level 3 Childcare qualification or equivalent.
  • Previous experience as a Senior Nursery Room Leader, Senior Nursery Room Manager, or Senior Nursery Practitioner.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and build strong relationships with colleagues and parents.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
