Practice Manager Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Practice Manager to join our team at Medivet. As a Practice Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the success and growth of our practices, working closely with our talented teams to deliver exceptional client care and drive commercial performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver exceptional client care, monitor client feedback, and implement actions to improve the practice.
  • Work closely with the Lead Vet and Regional Operations Director to maximise commercial performance, focusing on key performance indicators such as capacity and skills utilisation, and managing costs.
  • Ensure the highest standards of regulatory, practice, and operational compliance, conducting audits and sharing best practice within and across practices and the wider Medivet community.
  • Manage the planning and execution of practice rotas to ensure optimum service levels, maximising utilisation of clinical skills.
  • Set the team up for success through effective recruitment, induction, and ongoing communication and management, delivering colleague engagement and retention.
  • Promote the practice externally through local community events and other avenues.
Requirements
  • Knowledge and understanding of practice environments, ideally gained in a Veterinary, GP, or Dental practice setting.
  • An understanding and appreciation of exceptional care and its impact on the client experience.
  • Understanding of the importance of regulation and effective processes for compliance.
  • Experience in driving strong commercial performance through effective financial management, marketing activity, and efficient ways of working.
  • Experience of resource planning and managing a team.
  • Proficiency with computer systems, experience of using Microsoft Office.
  • Good numeracy and analytical skills.
