Head of Business Controlling

Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for driving financial excellence? KONE, a global leader in the elevator and escalator industry, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced finance professional to fill the role of Head of Business Controlling and join our Finance Team in The Netherlands, Ireland and The United Kingdom.
As the Head of Business Controlling for your cluster, we expect you to drive and contribute to the next step on our Finance journey, play a pivotal role and support in achieving our business objectives, to be a business partner across our organization and to contribute to the decision making also outside your own area of responsibility. We expect you to have experience in driving change, and to be a true leader in a changing environment.
You will lead a team of 7 Regional Controllers, spread across The Netherlands, Ireland and The United Kingdom. You will report to the Finance Director of our cluster.
Key Responsibilities:
- You take the ownership in driving and supporting our business objectives.- You will do this by partnering with our Senior Leadership team and wider management team. Based on your finance expertise and business insights, you will act as a true Business Partner: you will challenge your stakeholders and think together with them about the best strategies to obtain our companies’ objectives- You will drive continuous improvement in business processes and efficiency in financial transactions.- You will lead a team of experienced Business Controllers, providing guidance and support in financial planning, analysis, and reporting.- You will drive provision of the most relevant financial insights, forecasts, and recommendations to support decision-making.- You will review the organisation's financial reports and business performance reports to ensure they are accurate and present the findings and recommendations to other Senior Management.- You are expected to maintain strong connections with other Finance colleagues within KONE to share best practices and to understand current and future trends.- Where possible, you align the processes and way-of-working across The Netherlands, Ireland and the United Kingdom.- You play a pivotal role in our forecasting and budgeting cycles.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or advanced degree- Proven experience (8+ years) in finance, controlling, or similar roles within a multinational corporation- You have a relevant qualification (CIMA, ACCA or ICAEW)- Strong leadership skills with solid experience in leading and developing high-performing teams- Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking abilities, with a focus on problem-solving and decision-making- Excellent communication skills, ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and cultures- Experience with SAP and Hyperion- You are comfortable to travel - for about 25% of the time
