Finance Assistant Opportunity

JHE & Partners Ltd is seeking an experienced Finance Assistant to join their team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role involves working closely with the Finance Manager to ensure the smooth operation of all financial duties in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a Finance Assistant position or similar.
  • Previous experience working in Sales and Purchase Ledger.
  • Daily bank reconciliations, including multi-currency transactions.
  • Credit control, cash allocations, and weekly production of debtor lists.
  • VAT returns.
  • Working closely with the Finance Manager on debtors and creditors.
  • Purchase ledger duties and responding to supplier queries.
  • Assisting with facilities management.
  • Sales ledger support.
  • Fixed asset register management.
  • Experience with XERO or similar.
  • AAT level 3.
