Job Summary:
Arcus FM is seeking a seasoned HR professional to lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive People Services strategy. As the Head of People Service, you will be responsible for driving change and process improvements across all HR functions, ensuring seamless employee life-cycle processes, and delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Chief People Officer to design and deliver a People Services strategy aligned with the company's growth strategy and values.
- Establish and lead a high-performing People Services team, focusing on internal customer satisfaction and service excellence.
- Develop and implement process improvements, leveraging automation to enhance the HR service and drive efficiencies.
- Oversee the development and delivery of an HR administration model, ensuring compliance with employment law and legislation, such as GDPR.
- Lead a team of HR professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure accurate and effective people processes and advice.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and leverage vendors to ensure People Service operations remain competitive and benchmarked.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in senior HR positions, with a track record of facilitating change and process improvements in a fast-paced environment.
- Significant experience in HR shared service activities, including UK payroll and legislative compliance.
- Strong knowledge of UK Payroll and wider UK legislative processes.
- Ability to motivate and lead a team, providing clear direction and measurable targets to track progress.
- Strong focus on designing people services metrics and KPIs to monitor and demonstrate effective customer service.
What We Offer:
- Competitive salary: £60,000-65,000 depending on experience
- Up to 20% discretionary bonus scheme, subject to achievement of targets
