Head of People Opportunity

A highly sought-after role has become available for a seasoned People professional to join our dynamic boutique fitness group in Central London.

About the Role

We are seeking a strategic and operationally-minded Head of People to lead our studio teams and drive business success. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing people strategies that align with our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the recruitment, onboarding, and development of studio staff, ensuring they have the necessary tools, knowledge, and motivation to excel.
  • Collaborate with Studio Managers to ensure all roles have up-to-date Job Descriptions and personal development plans in place.
  • Monitor and action quarterly results of our People Engagement surveys, driving continuous improvement.
  • Develop and refine operational manuals and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to streamline efficiency and consistency across all locations.
  • Engage in regular site visits to maintain and support operational standards.
  • Lead the central team for 3rd party suppliers, including concessions, retail, and F&B operators.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 7 years' experience in an operations management role, preferably in the fitness or hospitality sectors.
  • Proven leadership skills with a track record of managing and inspiring teams across multiple locations.
  • Exceptional organisational, communication, and strategic problem-solving abilities, adaptable to a fast-paced and evolving environment.
  • A self-motivator with a strong work ethic and an entrepreneurial streak.
  • A genuine passion for fostering a positive, health-focused community culture within the fitness industry.
