Job Title: Head of Service

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Service to join our team at South Yorkshire Housing Association Ltd. As a key member of our senior leadership team, you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership to our LiveWell assets portfolio.

About the Role:

  • Lead on the strategic oversight and development of the LiveWell assets portfolio
  • Provide senior level operational oversight of services within the portfolio, ensuring they are financially robust, well governed, and high performing
  • Lead a high performing team to deliver customer focused, impactful services and drive a commitment to ongoing continuous improvement
  • Champion collaboration across the organisation in order to support SYHA to achieve its strategic objectives

About You:

  • Demonstrable experience of managing contracts and/or assets, ensuring excellent compliance, performance and risk management
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting and financial analysis
  • Track record of motivating and leading managers and in the development of a diverse workforce
  • Proven experience of leading strategic initiatives, with the knowledge and skills required for successfully delivering change
  • Personal credibility and a track record in housing, health, employment or social care setting

Our Benefits:

  • Salary – £56,774- £58,916 FTE
  • Working hours – 22.2 hours
  • Generous holiday entitlement – 27 days annual leave, statutory bank holidays plus an additional 4 SYHA days, pro rata
