Job Summary
We are seeking an Undergraduate Intern - Mechanical Project Coordinator to join our Research & Development function in Southampton. As a Mechanical Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for taking part in many of the group's live projects and working in an industrial setting. You will have the opportunity to develop your transferable skills, including project planning, communication, and problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities
- Take part in many of the group's live projects and work in an industrial setting
- Develop and deliver commercial manufacturing solutions for new-to-world or new-to-group technologies and products
- Work with a range of internal and external stakeholders, including Next Generation Products, Research & Development, and Procurement
- Participate in cross-functional/department working and other research activities
Requirements
- Working towards a degree in Mechanical/Aeronautical/Mechatronic Engineering (or a related subject)
- Have a working knowledge of CAD and its applications
- Self-motivated to work both independently and in a team
- Strong communication skills
- Intuitive designer
- Strong presentation and report writing skills
- Knowledge of project planning tools
- Ability to work with speed and precision and deliver against agreed priorities
