About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Mechanical Project Coordinator to join our Manufacturing Innovations Group team in Southampton. As an Undergraduate Intern, you will play a key role in developing and delivering commercial manufacturing solutions for new-to-world or new-to-group technologies and products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in multiple live projects, contributing to all aspects of the project lifecycle from ideation to delivery.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including Next Generation Products, Research & Development, and Procurement.
  • Develop and improve presentation skills, working with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Contribute to cross-functional and departmental working, participating in other research activities as appropriate.
Requirements
  • Working towards a degree in Mechanical/Aeronautical/Mechatronic Engineering or a related subject.
  • Proficiency in CAD and its applications.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of project planning tools and ability to work with speed and precision.
