This is an exciting opportunity to join Selwood Limited, a leading pump rental solutions company in the UK. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bid Writer to support our Business Development team in driving business growth through tender activities.
About the Role
We are looking for a talented individual with excellent writing, editing, and proof-reading skills to develop clear win strategies for each bid, ensuring compelling win themes. The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience of successful bid writing, ideally in the plant hire, construction, civil engineering, water, or engineering industries.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop high-quality tender submissions to achieve business growth in alignment with corporate strategies
* Collaborate with central departments to gather information relevant to each submission
* Write compelling narrative and draft professional submission responses that fulfill scoring criteria
Requirements
The successful candidate will be educated to A-level standard (degree level preferred) within a writing-based discipline. They will also have APMP qualification (desirable) and experience of procurement platforms such as Achillies, Ariba, and Jaggaer Bravo Solutions. Proficiency in AI software such as Copilot, ChatGPT is also required.
