About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our talented kitchen team at The Ship Inn in Mousehole. As Sous Chef, you will play a key role in supporting our Head Chef in leading the team and ensuring the highest standards of food quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Head Chef in leading the kitchen team and maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation.
  • Assist with menu planning, food preparation, and presentation to ensure consistency and excellence.
  • Manage kitchen inventory, ordering, and stock control to minimize waste and optimize efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef to develop and implement new menu ideas and concepts.
  • Ensure a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
