Job Description

CRG is seeking a highly skilled Finance Manager to join our team in Sunbury on Thames. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing financial reporting to our group head office and supporting the Business Controller in this effort.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Reporting: Prepare and submit monthly accounts and flash reports to the Company's financial reporting system, Hyperion, in a timely and accurate manner.
  2. Accounting and Financial Analysis: Monitor the costing systems, activities, and transactions in the Company ERP system, SAP, to ensure accurate operation and identify areas for improvement.
  3. Leadership and Team Management: Supervise and develop 6 direct reports and 5 indirect reports, maintaining strong relationships with the business and ensuring effective communication.
  4. Payroll and Tax Compliance: Prepare, check, and submit payroll to an external processing company, as well as assist with VAT returns, CIS, and Corporation tax.
  5. Budgeting and Forecasting: Prepare information for the budgeting process and forecast updates, developing new models and reporting as required.
  6. Year-End Closing and Internal Audit: Lead on internal audit requests and submissions, ensuring compliance with Group accounting and compliance policies.
  7. Margin Analysis and Performance Improvement: Identify areas of non-performance and profit opportunities, taking corrective actions to drive business growth.
  8. General Administration and Office Management: Assist with general administration and office management tasks, including ordering supplies and maintaining office facilities.

Requirements:

  1. Qualifications: Part qualified ACCA/CIMA or qualified by experience.
  2. Experience: Prior working experience as a finance manager.
  3. Skills: Advanced working knowledge of Excel and SAP, high level of commitment, self-motivation, and personal integrity.
  4. Abilities: Ability to prioritize workload, communicate effectively with colleagues, and present complex data in a clear and user-friendly manner.
