Strategic Finance Partner

dnata Travel Group, a key player in the travel sector, encompasses renowned brands such as Gold Medal, Netflights, Travelbag, and Travel Republic.
We are currently seeking a Strategic Finance Partner to enhance our Travelbag and Travel Republic operations.
In this pivotal role, you will collaborate with Senior Managers to analyze current performance metrics, develop comprehensive forecasts, and provide insightful analyses that bolster financial decision-making and cost management. You will spearhead the budgeting and forecasting initiatives, delivering intricate financial models that ensure precise, timely execution of plans while monitoring performance and identifying opportunities and risks to meet EBITDA objectives.
We are looking for a candidate with a solid background in commercial or financial roles, preferably within the travel industry. You should be a respected leader with a proven track record of driving positive commercial outcomes.
This position offers a hybrid working arrangement, with three days in the office and two days working remotely.
Key Responsibilities
Challenge and drive the achievement of EBITDA targets, ensuring that opportunities are fully leveraged and risks are effectively managed. Lead and oversee the budgeting, forecasting, and planning processes. Communicate performance against budgets and forecasts, clearly outlining risks and opportunities. Provide support for ad hoc analyses and evaluations of business initiatives to prioritize and enhance incremental sales and profitability. Utilize your analytical skills to evaluate the commercial viability of business initiatives and make data-driven recommendations. Foster strong working relationships with key stakeholders to enhance profitability and facilitate informed decision-making. Act as a key participant in the weekly trading forum, offering commercial insights while identifying opportunities and risks to trading performance and providing constructive challenges to other stakeholders. Lead initiatives focused on data-driven decision-making through the provision of reliable and accessible business analytics and reporting. Regularly review operational processes for efficiency and effectiveness, considering their impact on other business areas and the customer experience.Required Skills and Qualifications:
Fully qualified accountant with substantial post-qualification experience. A strategic thinker capable of visualizing opportunities and re-engineering business processes for improvement. Commercially savvy with the ability to pinpoint opportunities for revenue and profit enhancement. Numerate and analytical, self-motivated, and solution-oriented. Exceptional attention to detail. Strong communication skills, comfortable engaging at all organizational levels. Excellent organizational and time management abilities. Capable of working both collaboratively and independently. Proficient in reporting and presentation. Skilled in influencing and negotiation. Effective people management capabilities. Adaptable and innovative in approach.-
