We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team at National Gas Transmission Plc. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the contractual and financial side of construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage construction projects from pre-contract to post-contract award, ensuring timely completion, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Develop and implement cost management strategies, including tender preparation, financial reporting, and risk management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective project delivery, including commercial acumen and supply chain management.
- Design and validate internal reporting systems to track project progress and financial performance.
- Utilize expertise in NEC Contract (A, C, E) and risk management to mitigate potential project risks.
- Experience in cost management, tender preparation, financial reporting, and risk management.
- Proficiency in NEC Contract (A, C, E) and risk management.
- Commercial acumen and supply chain management skills.
- Ability to create and validate internal reporting systems.
- Experience as a Quantity Surveyor in construction or utilities, preferably with a strong background in contract management.
- Annual bonus of up to 6% based on personal and company performance.
- Company car if mileage requirements are met.
