Senior Construction Manager Job Description

Salter Grange Limited, a renowned specialist engineering contractor, is seeking an experienced Senior Construction Manager to lead a high-profile Data Centre project in London.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all day-to-day site operations, ensuring seamless execution and timely completion.
  • Manage sub-contractor activities, tracking progress against schedule and staffing levels, and facilitate weekly meetings to maintain open communication.
  • Monitor and report direct labour hours and sub-contractor hours to the time administrator for centralized tracking.
  • Attend site meetings, internal project reviews, engineering reviews, planning and coordination meetings, and handover meetings to ensure effective collaboration and project progress.
  • Contribute to the internal weekly progress report by summarizing project supervisors' reports and ensuring team input.
  • Record weekly safety statistics and project labour projections to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
Requirements:
  • A trade background and 5-7 years of experience managing large projects and sub-contractors, with a proven track record of success.
