Construction Project Manager

A leading specialist engineering contractor, Salter Grange Limited, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Construction Manager to lead a high-profile Data Centre project in London.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing large-scale industrial projects, with a proven track record in data centre, industrial, or mission-critical projects from inception to completion.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Oversee all day-to-day site operations, ensuring seamless execution and timely completion.
  2. Manage sub-contractor activities, including progress tracking, staffing levels, and weekly meetings.
  3. Ensure accurate reporting of direct labour hours and sub-contractor hours to the time administrator.
  4. Attend site meetings, internal project reviews, engineering reviews, planning and coordination meetings, and handover meetings.
  5. Contribute to the internal weekly progress report, rolled up from project supervisors' reports.
  6. Record weekly safety statistics and project labour projections.
Requirements:
  1. A trade background and 5-7 years of experience managing large projects and sub-contractors.
