Overview

We are a family-run veterinary practice seeking an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join our team as a Clinical Consultant. This is an exciting opportunity to provide exceptional client and animal care while enjoying a fantastic work-life balance.

Salary and Benefits

The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary of up to £70,000 per annum (FTE), with flexible working options tailored to their needs. We also offer fully funded Continuing Professional Development (CPD) opportunities, professional memberships paid, and a contributory pension scheme.

About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Veterinary Surgeon who is passionate about providing outstanding standards of client and animal care. As a Clinical Consultant, you will be responsible for providing consult-only services, with a focus on client interaction and medical care. You will work alongside a friendly and supportive team, including 2 vets, 3 fully qualified Registered Veterinary Nurses, and a Practice Manager.

Requirements

  • Strong clinical skills and ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ideal candidate would have experience in consult/medicine-biased roles, although general GP interest is welcome
