Animal Care Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Animal Care Specialist to join our team in the Worcestershire area. As part of our dynamic veterinary practice, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care to animals while working in a collaborative environment. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of pets and their owners.
Estimated Annual Salary: £45,000 - £65,000
Job Responsibilities:
In this role, you will perform routine examinations, diagnostics, and treatments on a variety of animals. You will also conduct surgical procedures as needed, including spaying, neutering, and other minor surgeries. Collaboration with veterinary nurses and support staff is essential to ensure comprehensive care for patients. Additionally, you will provide guidance and advice to pet owners on general care, feeding, and wellness. Accurate records of patient histories, treatments, and progress must be maintained.
Key Qualifications and Skills:
- Veterinary degree from a recognized institution.
- Valid veterinary license to practice in the UK.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- Compassionate and caring approach to animals.
