Engineering Development Path

This 4-year apprenticeship programme offers a unique opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in advanced manufacturing engineering, while working with a leading family business.

Key Skills and Qualifications

You will need to have a strong foundation in maths, English, and science, as well as a passion for engineering. During your apprenticeship, you will gain a Level 2 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Foundation Competence) and a BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Development Knowledge).

You will be responsible for performing plant maintenance, conducting failure diagnosis, and maintaining highly automated control systems, mechanical, electrical, and production systems. You will also learn about food and safety legislation.

We offer a competitive starting salary of £21,500 per year, rising each year of your apprenticeship. Future Career Opportunities

Upon completion of your apprenticeship, you will have achieved a BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering and will be equipped with the skills and knowledge required to succeed in a multiskilled maintenance engineer role. You will have the opportunity to progress to senior roles within the business, including leadership positions.
