Bristol, Bristol, United Kingdom Capgemini Engineering Full time

Are you a skilled Manufacturing Engineer looking to take your career to the next level in the Space sector? Capgemini Engineering is seeking an experienced Electro-Mechanical Component Specialist to join our team in Stevenage, UK. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects, utilizing your technical expertise to develop and apply engineering practice and knowledge.

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to understand and use complex technical feedback to iterate existing manufacturing processes. A Lean / Six Sigma green belt or higher is desirable, as well as experience in mechanical & electrical design, manufacturing, and validation.

As a key member of our 'Assembly, Integration and Test' operational team, you will be responsible for producing Technical Instructions to support the manufacturing schedule, identifying production defects, and developing corresponding rework and repair methods. You will also support quality reviews and RCAs using lean / six sigma tools, develop lessons learnt, and support PFMEA reviews to reduce non-conformance.

This is a hybrid working role, which means you will be unable to work from home 100% of the time. However, you will have opportunities to work offsite (UK and abroad) for undefined periods at short notice, and may need to work overtime and occasional shifts as required.

We offer a competitive salary of £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including a positive work-life balance, flexible working arrangements, and access to wellbeing apps such as Thrive and Peppy. If you are a motivated and technically skilled individual who is passionate about delivering high-quality results, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
