Fire Safety Manager

We are seeking an experienced fire safety professional to join our Health and Safety Team at the University of the West of England. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety of our students, staff, and visitors across our three campuses.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement fire safety management systems to ensure compliance with fire legislation and University policies.
- Conduct fire risk assessments and provide advice and support to colleagues and stakeholders.
- Develop and deliver fire safety training programs to ensure staff and students are aware of fire safety procedures.
- Manage fire safety audits and ensure that all fire safety equipment is properly maintained and inspected.
- Work collaboratively with the Estates Team to ensure that fire safety is integrated into all aspects of campus development and maintenance.
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced fire safety professional who is able to engage and influence at all levels. You will have a comprehensive knowledge of fire safety and a proven track record of developing and implementing effective fire safety management systems.
You will be a graduate member of a relevant professional body, such as the Institution of Fire Engineers, and have a Level 4 Diploma in Fire Safety or equivalent qualification.
