Fire & Security Project Engineer - Nationwide Opportunities Available

Marlowe Fire & Security, a specialist business within Marlowe Fire and Security Group, is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join its team.

Basic Salary: £32-40,000 subject to experience

About the Role

As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for technically engineering, installing, and managing small and large projects across the Marlowe portfolio. Your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Liaising with key clients to ensure programme deadlines are achieved while maintaining profitability, Health, Safety, and quality to company requirements
  2. Ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget
  3. Ensuring projects are on programme
  4. Processing cost sheets to the purchasing department
  5. Planning and controlling labour and materials required to deliver the project
  6. Ensuring all engineering paperwork is allocated to engineers and following project completion, ensuring commissioning is completed correctly
  7. Providing technical expertise as required on projects
  8. Attending site meetings as required
  9. Line management of engineers and subcontractors as assigned, including management of employees
  10. Managing job profitability of assigned projects and reporting into the project manager
  11. Controlling all aspects of health and safety on sites
  12. Carrying out installation and commissioning of systems and minor works when required
  13. Ensuring the maintenance of Marlowe quality and HSE standards
Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in the fire and security industry
  • Experience of engineering projects across single and multiple site locations
  • Technical knowledge of major systems and projects
  • Demonstrable technical experience with good interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work anywhere at any time to ensure project completion following all Marlowe health and safety guidelines
  • Ability to work under pressure and work well in a team environment or on their own
  • A driven and enthusiastic individual who relishes a challenging environment
