We are working in partnership with Ark Greenwich Free School to find a visionary Director of Geography Curriculum Development from January 2025.

**Job Summary:**

The Supply Register is seeking a highly skilled and experienced educator to lead the development and implementation of a rigorous and evidence-based geography curriculum at Ark Greenwich Free School. This is a permanent role that offers a competitive salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, paid to scale.

**About the Role:**

  • To develop and lead a transformational school community by creating and implementing a coherent KS3-5 curriculum pathway in geography that enables high scholar progress and attainment.
  • To stay ahead of changes in the National Curriculum and GCSE and A-Level Examinations, ensuring the geography curriculum remains future-proof and aligned with best practice.
  • Lead and manage a professional community of subject teachers to achieve exceptional scholar attainment and progress in geography.
  • To monitor and be accountable for the progress and attainment of scholars in geography.
  • To contribute to the delivery of high-quality training programs for teaching and learning, focusing on expertise in geography.
  • To uphold all school policies and procedures.
  • To maintain and develop strong links with external organisations and the Ark Geography Lead Network to promote exceptional achievement.
