Opus 2 Technical Writer

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced technical writer to join our small team in Edinburgh. This role will involve creating and updating content in our product knowledgebase, working closely with the Product, Development, and Training Teams.

The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and a talent for writing clearly and concisely. They will be responsible for managing documentation development through 6-week release cycles, owning and maintaining release notes and the Product Definition Document (PDD), and contributing to the creation of training materials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Creating and updating content in the product knowledgebase
  • Owning and maintaining release notes and the PDD
  • Contributing to the creation of training materials
  • Working closely with the Product, Development, and Training Teams

Requirements:

  • 2+ years' experience of software technical writing experience
  • Interest in the tech sector and movements in the documentation and communication landscape
  • Familiarity with basic image capturing and editing in relation to technical documentation
  • Experience using technical authoring software tools
