SEN Learning Assistant

We are recruiting for a skilled and empathetic SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a Primary School in St. Helen's. As a key member of the school community, you will provide individualized support to a student with complex needs, promoting their academic and personal growth.

About the Position:
- Support a student with SEN and SEMH needs in a 1:1 setting
- Develop and implement strategies to address behavioural challenges
- Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to create a tailored learning plan
- Build relationships with students, families, and colleagues to ensure a cohesive support network
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience working with children with SEN and SEMH needs
- Knowledge of behavioural challenges and strategies for addressing them
- Teaching Assistant Level 2 qualification or equivalent
- Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the update service
- A full, 10-year career history and minimum of 2 professional references
