We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN teaching assistant to join a supportive and inclusive school community. As a SEN teaching assistant, you will play a key role in supporting children with diverse learning needs, helping them to achieve their full potential and thrive in a positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide one-to-one or small group support to students with SEN, both inside and outside the classroom.
- Assist with the implementation of individual education plans (IEPs) and adapt activities to suit individual needs.
- Support students in developing social, communication, and life skills.
- Foster a positive, inclusive environment where students feel confident and supported.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and other professionals to develop and review student progress.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with children or young people, preferably within a SEN setting. A genuine passion for supporting children with special educational needs is essential, as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills.
A competitive salary of £28,000 - £32,000 per annum, depending on experience, is offered along with ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
