Quality Leadership Role

As a Senior Quality Assurance Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that all our products meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance. You will lead the development and implementation of quality policies, procedures, and systems to drive continuous improvement and excellence in our production processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain quality management systems to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Lead the quality team in the development, implementation, and maintenance of quality policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality is integrated into all aspects of the business.
  • Provide training and development opportunities to ensure the quality team has the necessary skills and knowledge to meet their roles and responsibilities.
  • Monitor and report on key quality metrics, including customer complaints, product returns, and non-conformance rates.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory requirements, and best practices in quality management.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications – HACCP Level 4, Food Safety Level 4.
  • Degree in food science or a relevant discipline.
  • Food industry experience essential with a comprehensive understanding of High Care operations.
  • Proven experience of leadership and team management.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of food law, legislation, and regulations for the UK.
  • Computer literate and good data management skills.
  • Results-focused and the ability to influence others.
  • Confident communicator across all levels.
  • Building relationships with customers by being the first point of contact for food safety.
  • Work well under pressure and to tight deadlines.
  • Strong organizational skills to meet the demands of a 24/7 business.
  • Flexible to work hours as required.
