Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Assurance Manager to join our team at DO&CO. As a key member of our production unit, you will be responsible for ensuring that all our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement quality systems and processes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and customer specifications.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with the QA Team to ensure that all products are of superior quality and delivered to perfection to our clients.
  • Facilitate and investigate non-conformances, customer complaints, and root cause analysis to implement corrective actions.
  • Monitor departmental KPIs and develop a quality culture within the organization.
  • Provide leadership and direction to ensure that team members are engaged, focused, developed, and delivering to their potential.
  • Maintain third-party certification and stay up-to-date with relevant legislation and regulations.
  • Work closely with Supply Chain and Operations to introduce new raw materials, packaging materials, and products.
Requirements
  • HACCP Level 4 and Food Safety Level 4 qualifications.
  • Degree in food science or a relevant discipline.
  • Food industry experience with a comprehensive understanding of High Care operations.
  • Proven experience of leadership and team management.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of food law, legislation, and regulations for the UK.
  • Computer literate and good data management skills.
  • Results-focused and able to influence others.
  • Confident communicator across all levels.
  • Building relationships with customers by being the first point of contact for food safety.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines.
  • Strong organizational skills to meet the demands of a 24/7 business.
  • Flexible to work hours as required.
