Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Back of House Manager to oversee the kitchen and front of house operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring seamless service, maintaining high standards of food quality, safety, and hygiene, and collaborating closely with the front of house staff to achieve exceptional guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Operations Management
- Oversee food storage, inventory management, and procurement to maintain optimal stock levels for the kitchen and front of house.
- Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage stock to minimize waste.
- Leadership and Collaboration
- Collaborate with the front of house manager to address any operational issues.
- Work closely with the front of house team to ensure efficient and seamless service.
- Quality and Safety
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen and FOH environment.
- Conduct regular kitchen inspections to ensure adherence to cleanliness and sanitation standards.
- Performance Management
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Cost Control and Efficiency
- Assist in cost control, optimizing kitchen operations to achieve financial targets.
- Implement and monitor operational procedures to enhance efficiency and service quality.
- Equipment Maintenance
- Oversee equipment maintenance and ensure all kitchen equipment is in good working order.
