About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and empathetic Women's Specialist Criminal Justice Practitioner to join our team at Black Country Women's Aid. As a key member of our Women's Justice Services, you will play a vital role in supporting women who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless, and those who may struggle with mental health issues or drugs and alcohol.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver therapeutic group work and one-to-one sessions to support women in the criminal justice system
  • Undertake community asset building and psycho-social interventions to enable women to make positive changes to their lifestyle
  • Work closely with the probation service to support the enforcement of their requirements
  • Travel to various sites across the region to support partner agencies
Requirements
  • Experience of holding an active caseload and knowledge of case management systems
  • Ability to work in a dynamic team environment and build strong relationships with women and partner agencies
  • Enhanced police checks will be required for this role
