Job Title: Women's Specialist Criminal Justice Practitioner

We are seeking a dynamic and empathetic individual to join our Women's Justice Services team as a Women's Specialist Criminal Justice Practitioner. This role requires the successful candidate to work within a dynamic team to meet the needs of women who present with multiple disadvantages whilst in the criminal justice system.

About the Role:

The Women's Specialist Criminal Justice Practitioner will support the enforcement of the probation service, who are co-located with, whilst also delivering support sessions either on a 1:1 or within a group setting. The successful candidate will be based between our head office in West Bromwich and our Office in the Jewellery Quarter, however, may be required to travel to other sites across the region in order to support our partner agencies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver therapeutic group work and undertake one-to-one sessions with women who are in the criminal justice system.
  • Support the enforcement of the probation service and work with partner agencies to meet the needs of women with multiple disadvantages.
  • Travel to other sites across the region to support our partner agencies.
Requirements:
  • Experience of holding an active caseload and knowledge of case management systems.
  • Enhanced police checks will be required for this role.
  • Self-driven, conscientious, and hardworking with lots of ambition.
